Responsibilities and Duties

The person will report to the assigned Program Director and/or the CEO. He shall supervise a number of Program Managers posted locally or in different cities while Program Managers each supervise several Counsellors. The key job responsibilities of a Senior Program Manager are as follows:

  • Seek qualified candidates for open provider positions.
  • Monitor and supervise the performance of providers and analyze program performance and summary reports.
  • Compile summary reports for reporting to the government.
  • Ensure that the juniors properly maintain data with the use of technology.
  • Maintain relations with the technology team and ensure that all problems are sorted out immediately.
  • Ensure reporting on daily, weekly and longer term basis.
  • Hold weekly meeting with providers for feedback and resolution of the problems faced in the field.
  • Prepare salary and ensure that it is disbursed on time, in collaboration with the accounts team.
  • Review imprest account and program spending prior to submission to headquarters.
  • Prepare narratives of patients stories for use in communications material.
  • Analyze and take action on performance reports.
  • Compile necessary reports.
  • Manage relationships with State (STO) and district level government officers.
  • Ensure quality control of treatment centers, including random spot-checks.
  • Manage inventory.
  • Prepare salary and ensure that it is disbursed on time, in collaboration with the accounts team.
  • Any other work assigned by seniors.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is required. Masters degree will be an added quality.
  • Willing to travel extensively, including to remote areas.
  • Prior experience of at least 2 years in development sector, preferably in management of Tuberculosis (TB) or co-morbidities.
  • Adaptable and willing to learn.
  • Must be fluent in Hindi and proficient in English.
  • Candidate must have their own bike.
